The STAR Process was founded over 30 years ago and it has been transforming lives ever since. It was developed by Barbara Findeisen, a Stanford educated therapist and an internationally recognized pioneer in Transpersonal Psychology. The STAR Process is designed to create a zone of safety so that the workshop participants can do their deepest personal work.
At STAR, the emphasis is on becoming your true, authentic self so that you will never again feel the need to look outside of yourself for validation and approval.
Your STAR experience will begin with exploring when, why, and how the psychological blocks developed in your life. As your process unfolds, you will be assisted in working through those blocks so that you can be free to live your life in a fuller, richer way.
Along the path to your true self, you will be gently guided through cognitive exercises, integrative breathwork, emotional release work, journaling, guided imagery, intensive writing assignments, and more, all designed to reveal patterns that may directly or indirectly affect the way you live today.
Throughout the STAR process, our large team of experienced staff (all of whom are trained STAR graduates) are available to work with you. In addition, you will be matched by the leadership team with a staff member to serve as your facilitator and will work closely with you to assure that the program is personalized to meet your needs.
STAR is a unique and rich experiential process. You will emerge with many new tools for living, including greater clarity in decision-making and new skills in listening and communicating. You will leave STAR with a deeper understanding of who you really are and how you truly want to live your life.
