Cost

Your medical insurance MAY reimburse you for a portion of the costs for STAR. For details about how medical insurance reimbursement works, call us at (888) 857-STAR (7827) or (707) 857-3359. The total fee for your STAR retreat including housing, food, the program, and your individual sessions is $4,195.

The Enrollment Process

To enroll, call our office toll-free at 888-857-STAR (7827). Upon completing a short online application, we will arrange for you to speak with a member of our clinical team to discuss the program and help to ensure that a STAR retreat is appropriate for you. A deposit of $800 is required to hold a space in an upcoming workshop. We advise that you wait to make your final travel arrangements until after confirming your acceptance with the STAR Foundation office.

An Early Enrollment Discount is available to enrollees completing the full application process and paying by check 30 days in advance of STAR.

Financial Aid

Partial scholarships, based on financial need, and payment plans are available.

An additional online form is then completed by you in advance of the program. Your balance of the workshop fee will be due, at the latest, two weeks before STAR. It is important to note that we enroll participants on a first come first serve basis. Your place is not guaranteed until all your forms are complete and you are paid in full or have made other payment arrangements with our Executive Director. We have a variety of payment plans available.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of $800 is required to reserve your space.

All cancellations are subject to the following policies:

                        If you cancel your attendance more than 30 days prior to the start of the workshop, your deposit, less a $250 administrative fee, will be refunded.

                        If you cancel your attendance between 14 and 30 days, inclusive, prior to the start of the workshop, your deposit, less a $250 administrative fee, may be transferred to another workshop of your choosing so long as it commences within 1 year of the start of the cancelled workshop. If you fail to select another workshop within 45 days of cancellation and/or if you cancel your attendance at the newly chosen workshop, the transferred deposit will be forfeited in its entirety.

                        If you cancel your attendance less than 14 days prior to the start of the workshop, your deposit will be forfeited in its entirety.
